Dom 'shymega' Rodriguez | Thanks! | 20:01:19 |
Dom 'shymega' Rodriguez | OK, so as for the profile manifest error, deleting $HOME/.local/state/nix/profiles seems to work. For homeModules, I guess a better place would be the Development channel to discuss. | 20:43:12 |
das-g | I'm observing the same problem as is stated in https://sylveon.social/notes/a0r1exlxwic9wmot. Should that be filed as a bug? If so, in NixPkgs or Lix or somewhere else? | 21:40:55 |
puck | what overlay are you using? | 21:41:16 |
das-g | As far as I'm aware, I'm not using any overlays. Just the Lix NixOS module in my system flake, as described by https://lix.systems/add-to-config/#flake-based-configurations (except that mine still has the 2.91.0.tar.gz URL. Should I try to bump that?) | 21:44:59 |
puck | ah, okay; we've been trying to figure out where the issue is but haven't been able to nail it down yet | 21:46:04 |
das-g | So it's a known issue? (I couldn't find it on the issue tracker.) | 21:46:46 |
puck | somewhat, yeah. what's the revision of the nixos-module ? | 21:46:55 |
puck | Oh. wait a minute | 21:47:28 |
puck | yeah woops i think bumping it to 2.91.1 might help | 21:47:42 |
puck | * yeah woops i think bumping it to 2.91.1-1 might help | 21:49:38 |
das-g | In reply to @puck:puck.moe somewhat, yeah. what's the revision of the nixos-module ? Is that what nix flake metadata outputs? | 21:50:38 |
puck | yeah, the locked url works; anything that has a version in it lol | 21:51:11 |
das-g | https://git.lix.systems/api/v1/repos/lix-project/nixos-module/archive/622a2253a071a1fb97a4d3c8103a91114acc1140.tar.gz?narHash=sha256-zNW/rqNJwhq2lYmQf19wJerRuNimjhxHKmzrWWFJYts%3D&rev=622a2253a071a1fb97a4d3c8103a91114acc1140 | 21:51:30 |
puck | yeah, update your flake to use nixos-module version 2.91.1-1 | 21:52:07 |
das-g | In reply to @puck:puck.moe yeah, update your flake to use nixos-module version 2.91.1-1 Yep, that worked! Thank you! | 22:15:19 |

For homeModules, I guess a better place would be the Development channel to discuss. This wasn't a good fix. If anything, it's meant my existing profiles are now gone. | 23:44:36 |
Dom 'shymega' Rodriguez | I should have known better. Is there a bug tracker for Lix? | 23:44:46 |
Dom 'shymega' Rodriguez | Ah, found it. | 23:45:22 |

Linux Hackerman | In reply to @just1602:systemli.org Euum, nixos-rebuild switch decide to build libreoffice from source today. I don't think I had to build it from source since my gentoo years more then a decade ago 😅 that's because it's failing to build, it's a nixpkgs problem, not lix's fault :) | 20:35:43 |
K900 | I merged a fix for that | 20:36:00 |
