But not to get into that discussion now; have you guys tried reaching to Google for sponsorship? I've tried their project IDX today, their big new thing. And it uses nix for all package management.
I'm surprised they aren't a sponsor :O
And it's a missed opportunity for them to get even more hype around it.
I understand they might not have a sense of duty and honour like miltech tends to have (or at least they should) but they are one of the biggest tech companies and this project seems to be in dire need of funding for maintainers etc.
