Edit: SOLVED. nixos-rebuild switch --repair fixed it. Notable that the flag seems to be missing from man nixos-rebuild.

| mynery | okay, so i want to set up nix on an arm laptop, so i want to provide a devicetree file and some kernel arguments on the live system, but it seems to not be a hybrid image, resulting in my thumb drive having an iso9660 file system, which is obviously read-only.
