 hacker1024 | I am building a system update tool for my company. It works by obtaining a path to a NixOS system closure through our API and then downloading it from our binary cache with nix-store --realise.
When using nix-store --realise, a message like the following is printed at the start (both regularly and in internal-json format): these 460 paths will be fetched (5337.45 MiB download, 12817.57 MiB unpacked)
Is there a way to get this information without starting the full realisation? As in, go until this information is known and then stop before downloading any paths? We'd like to display the "update size".
