FYI: At the moment is not difficult to get Zulip notifications for your Zulip instance for free if you are an open source / public interest project. People at our small local Hackerspace did this for a project not too long ago. Just took an email. oh wow that's an important point | 19:21:33 |

Yeah me neither. It's badly implemented. But the project gets very important fundamental factors right if you ask me, the people working on Matrix are good people with the best of intentions, but the majority of problems i see with Matrix are byproducts of core architectural decisions that would be very difficult to rework at this point | 19:23:31 |
