Ramses 🇵🇸 | Where do we request an invite for the nixos room? | 07:23:46 |

jaen | Hello, how does it work if you'd like to suggest/request a room? I think with things like nix-njnja and sandstone appearing it could be useful to have a room dedicated to dynamic derivations and tools making advantage of them? Yes, I know it's bleeding edge, but I'm thinking of trying to apply that (via nix-ninja) to make Android builds not terrible and a place where you could talk about dynamic derivations specifically could be useful? Or do you think the nix room is enough for that? Or maybe I should I stead make a discourse thread/post to gauge interest? | 07:29:59 |

ari ❄ | heh. just noticed that some matrix clients will render inline <img tags, even if limited only to images from their own homeserver | 19:11:55 |
ari ❄ | if posting links works, this is how it works in cinny: https://ar.is-a.cat/c/ed4427edd71d69e6e99daafb35d116362c762bf0.png | 19:12:51 |
ari ❄ | bonus points: it bypasses the media/url preview settings | 19:14:01 |
@emma:rory.gay | cinny issue | 19:26:54 |
@emma:rory.gay | inline image tags are supposed to render :)
not bypassing click to view though | 19:27:20 |
ari ❄ | and fluffychat | 19:29:41 |
ari ❄ | and i would be surprised if the list closed here | 19:30:03 |
ari ❄ | element behaves interestingly. if showing images by-default is enabled, it will render inline images; if inline url previews are enabled, it will show links to the images; if neither of the options is enabled, it will render the message as if the img tags weren't there | 19:35:59 |
@emma:rory.gay | they should be rendered as hyperlinks to media i think | 19:39:23 |
| @emma:rory.gay changed their display name from Emma [it/its] but with extra displayname this time to Emma [it/its]. | 19:39:37 |
