@xx_doomer_xx:matrix.orgsimple-coderThis looks good, I just to use Nix to wrap around these Linux tooling commands on the GitHub page.09:13:53
@k900:0upti.meK900The "Mac like font" thing is just FreeType but that's really not the problem09:13:57
@k900:0upti.meK900The problem is that Windows doesn't understand weird subpixel layouts09:14:05
@k900:0upti.meK900Also that link seems to be for your desktop wallpaper09:14:22
@k900:0upti.meK900Not a screensaver09:14:25
@xx_doomer_xx:matrix.orgsimple-coderOh that sucks.09:14:44
@k900:0upti.meK900But if you want a screensaver and you want to configure it with Nix, there's probably some dconf knob you can set with HM?09:14:44
@k900:0upti.meK900I don't use GNOME so I don't know09:14:57
@k900:0upti.meK900But most of their settings are in dconf09:15:02
@k900:0upti.meK900So I assume these would be too09:15:05
@xx_doomer_xx:matrix.orgsimple-coderUh don't know I'll look into it.09:15:14
@xx_doomer_xx:matrix.orgsimple-coderEmacs or Vscode can't be setup to make the font look good on this monitor?09:16:03
@xx_doomer_xx:matrix.orgsimple-coder K900 (drm/amd#1417 when): And can these wallpapers from this omglinux link be used in the screen saver as well? 09:17:40
@xx_doomer_xx:matrix.orgsimple-coderI don't care if the system or browser fonts look bad, I just care about the development environment font.09:19:12

Is anyone else on nvidia seeing this in their steam console output? (truncated)

x86_64-linux-gnu-capsule-capture-libs: warning: Dependencies of libnvidia-pkcs11.so.545.29.02 not found, ignoring: Missing dependencies: Could not find "libcrypto.so.1.1" in LD_LIBRARY_PATH ...
04:30:33
@tejing:matrix.org@tejing:matrix.org

also this seems new:

pressure-vessel-wrap[1828867]: W: "/run/current-system/sw/bin/getent" is unlikely to appear in "/run/host"
04:31:20
@tejing:matrix.org@tejing:matrix.org

and of course the one we've had for a while:

pressure-vessel-wrap[1828867]: W: Found more than one possible libdrm data directory from provider
04:31:49
@tejing:matrix.org@tejing:matrix.orgif anyone knows what's causing these, and if the steam package can do anything to fix them, let me know. I'm compiling a PR of fixes for steam/buildFHSEnv04:32:26

This one looks like an error in the nvidia driver packaging. The RPATH isn't set correctly.
