K900 | vulkan-extension-layer shouldn't do anything on any Mesa driver as they already implement all the extensions it provides natively | 21:04:23 |
@slabity:matrix.org | What I'm curious about is how many people are experiencing this issue. I literally cleaned my entire Steam installation and problem persisted so I'm very curious what's different on my end that is causing this. | 21:14:05 |

miyoku157 | Hi, I'm doing a setup for multiple users. And I have a question about something i didn't find.
I try to set Hyprland as WM for me and KDE for the second user.
I thought doing that thanks to the home-manager; but i must say i don't really have example of how to do it. Do you have idea of how to do that?
And also, I'm used to the console, move through linux, but the other user not at all (that's why i'm setting a easier WM) but he's also a gamer. Is KDE a good choice for that? or is it to greedy in performance (in general i help to setup the game with wine or proton). Do you have any advice for the WM? | 17:24:28 |
Charles ⚡️ | you could install both at the system level and then use a display manager (e.g. lightdm) to choose the session/DE on login | 18:21:03 |

Charles ⚡️ | In reply to @miyoku157:matrix.org Sry i wasn't sure if the room was the good one i was talking to hexa, not you, but also i misunderstood hexa's intentions lol. so ignore me | 18:27:48 |
Charles ⚡️ | your question wasn't super gaming related so #nix:nixos.org would have been fine but this isn't necessarily the wrong place either 🤷 | 18:28:19 |

@delroth:delroth.net | In reply to @hexa:lossy.network surely a room that concerns packaging yuzu in nixpkgs I mean, the NixOS Foundation or GitHub aren't really parties in that settlement, so it doesn't change much. Nintendo could have sent a DMCA takedown request before, and they still can now. | 20:39:35 |
