 tomog | I'm trying to set up Steam remote play, between two NixOS machines. I have paired them via Steam link, but when I attempt to actually share the desktop/stream:
- the Steam link client times out during stream handshake (logged on stderr), and
- the Steam server also reports this time out (logged on stderr)

| tomog | I just realised I can use Steam as a client for streaming, so I've set up Steam on the client and server, both on X11. I expect that should work, but it also failed with a time out waiting for the stream to start. I'm confident this isn't a firewall issue, because I had those already, which I also observed in my firewall logs. I have since resolved those. | 15:00:53 |
