Hey. It is with a heavy heart that I say this, but unfortunately Outreachy rejected all of our requests to fund interns using the Outreachy General Fund. The only intern funded was funded using money from an European Union grant to NixOS-NGI, not Outreachy. This unfortunately means that all of our selected interns were rejected. Yes, to clarify how it works: Outreachy helps matching interns with organizations. They have some funding, but orgs are expected to bring their own. We had funding via NGI and that is earmarked to work on our contractual obligations. So other projects need to rely on external funding, as detailed in our original announcement:
