I know it's a hard answer to articulate. Why do you love it? How did you go from that initial motivation to the current glee?

atomic distros have always interested me, i like having the stability of atomic updates, nixos has that which is nice, and the idea of portability that nixos provides is also nice

honestly the stuff i heard about it made me interested in it, i heard about how it has atomic updates and how its declarative and stuff, i think it's a really solid idea, and also the large package repository is also really nice
