Grimmauld (any/all) | I'll be using aarch64 community builder over night unless anyone has complaints | 21:34:45 |
emily | I had some kernel builds planned for bisecting things. (but it's not urgent and I assume you are not going to use all the cores anyway) | 21:35:28 |
Grimmauld (any/all) | i actually was going to use all the cores, trying to build audit.tests on https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/420043 (~1500 rebuilds), if you want to do kernel i can move to x86_64 or drop some cores for you | 21:36:31 |

hexa | currently using one build slot for firefox 140.0esr probably for another hour | 21:40:57 |
Grimmauld (any/all) | i am on 6 jobs/8 cores, aarch64-linux only, ETA for the full build ~4h. Should be fine. | 21:43:16 |

sielicki | hi all, is anyone willing to co-maintain https://github.com/nix-community/tree-sitter-nix ?
if you look through the commit log, the only thing keeping this alive are folks with commit perms across all repos and/or automated lockfile bots. The listed maintainer hasn't touched the repo since july 2023
| 05:09:32 |
sielicki | my selfish interest in this is trying to get #138 in, which would make it possible to follow the rest of the steps here and potentially get us to a point where clicking symbols on github's web interface resolve to the actual definition. | 05:11:04 |

I'm pretty new to developing TS grammars, but I can take a look if there is anything that requires immediate attention. | 10:44:45 |

Austin Horstman | It would be nice to have some extra committers for that repo, that grammar recently came up in a PR implementing testing and it labeled it as a broken grammar due to failing tests. | 19:21:40 |

sielicki | is there any sort of process to driving this forward? | 04:17:19 |
sielicki | I don't think anyone needs to be an expert in tree sitter, we just need someone with commit access who is able to look at the pull requests and use a bit of judgement | 04:17:53 |
sielicki | I'd be willing to play that role if nobody else is interested | 04:18:09 |
Jonas Chevalier | sielicki: can you create an issue on the repo and tag the old maintainers? if they don't answer after a few weeks, then report back here and the org can make a decision | 09:14:53 |
