Pratham Patel | What's the best way to get Nix derivations out of the community builders (mainly build-box.nix-community.org and aarch64-build-box.nix-community.org) without needing to establish an SSH connection? I can't find any information about where the derivations built on either these machines are available [preferably] as a nix cache over HTTP. | 15:46:42 |
K900 | They aren't | 15:48:09 |
K900 | You have to do SSH and also those builders should not be trusted by ANYTHING | 15:48:21 |
Pratham Patel | Yeah, I don't use it to build my stuff. But for my nixpkgs contributions, mainly in context to COSMIC, I build all 25 rust packages and then an ISO and copy it to my laptop to test it out for anything that's broken. Sometimes I have crappy internet between my home internet and the host so would prefer copying it to my server and then directly copying it to my laptop. | 15:50:21 |
K900 | ssh jump host | 15:58:44 |
