hiya, I'm contemplating offering https://github.com/lf-/flakey-profile as a nix-community project. It is somewhat of an odd inclusion since it is an absolutely tiny project that doesn't really require maintenance, but I want to offer it so it is easier to, say, recommend on nix.dev as a solution to profiles with a relatively stable home. How did you go from that initial motivation to the current glee? atomic distros have always interested me, i like having the stability of atomic updates, nixos has that which is nice, and the idea of portability that nixos provides is also nice
honestly the stuff i heard about it made me interested in it, i heard about how it has atomic updates and how its declarative and stuff, i think it's a really solid idea, and also the large package repository is also really nice | 19:16:45 |
