Anyone know how long it takes to compile the linux-5.15 kernel on a single M1 Max core (via QEMU)? I set up the builder as documented in https://nixos.org/manual/nixpkgs/stable/#sec-darwin-builder but I didn't set virtualisation.cores and that turns out to default to 1, oops answer: 1h35m later it failed with a makefile error 🤦🏻♀️ | 06:50:30 |
