@crtified:crtified.meCRTified Is it possible that mode: storage causes them to get ignored? 20:43:21

No support for declarative Lovelace modules in that case
Do you know what this actually controls? I can only guess that switching to yaml requires re-creating all dashboards, but the documentation is pretty sparse on this
10:11:39
@hexa:lossy.network@hexa:lossy.networkresources need to be defined in the Lovelace.yaml10:15:13
@hexa:lossy.network@hexa:lossy.networkIf that does not exist, then you need to set that up in the dashboard settings in the frontend10:15:38
@hexa:lossy.network@hexa:lossy.networkAnd you can export generated dashboards back to yaml10:16:10
@crtified:crtified.meCRTified Ah, I asked imprecisely. Do you know what switching mode: storage to mode: yaml implies? That's what I have a hard time with finding documentation 10:29:08
@hexa:lossy.network@hexa:lossy.networkthat will reset dashboards10:30:34
@hexa:lossy.network@hexa:lossy.network since one uses the managed .storage subdir to store the dashboards 10:30:49
@hexa:lossy.network@hexa:lossy.networkwhile the other uses the lovelace.yaml in /var/lib/hass10:31:06
@hexa:lossy.network@hexa:lossy.networkI suspect the schema is mostly the same though10:31:19
@crtified:crtified.meCRTifiedThank you :) I'll give it a shot when I have a bit of spare time11:33:03

@johnhamelink:matrix.orgjohnhamelinkHi there, I'm trying to install a home-assistant lovelace module (home-assistant-custom-lovelace-modules.valetudo-map-card), and while it seems to install OK, I don't see the card in lovelace when creating a new entity. When using HACS, I'd have to add a "resource" url in order to complete the installation. Is that also necessary in this case, and if so, how would I find the correct URL to use for the resource20:48:59
@k900:0upti.meK900No, it's not necessary20:50:51
@k900:0upti.meK900But you may need to force refresh the page20:50:56
@johnhamelink:matrix.orgjohnhamelinkHmm, a force-refresh hasn't helped. When I manually add the yaml block from the valetudo map card docs, lovelace gives an error saying "custom element doesn't exist".20:52:53
@johnhamelink:matrix.orgjohnhamelinkHere's the config I've written for context: https://git.sr.ht/~johnhamelink/nix/tree/master/item/os/hosts/sun/services/home-assistant.nix#L7320:53:40
