@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensgross, we should probably replace these binaries12:27:08
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephenshttps://github.com/music-assistant/libraop12:27:46
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensthe license story of this binary doesn't look clear or simple either12:30:36
@hexa:lossy.networkhexaoops 🙂 12:33:57
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephenspoking around it looks to be mostly MIT and GPL12:34:14
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensthough philippe44 dropped some of the license headers when copying from chevil/raop2_play, referring instead to the LICENSE file which doesn't exist12:34:47
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephens * poking around it looks to be mostly MIT and GPL 12:36:08

Pipewire can do airplay
true, and that works from my desktop, but isn’t how music-assistant does it :/

I hadn’t found the sources before so thank you, maybe I can get somewhere in figuring out why it’s not working
13:31:30
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensshould be possible to package it and replace the binary in the checkout.21:39:56
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephenswhich we likely want to do anyway, given that they're dynamically linked21:40:15
@mjm:midna.devmjm yeah, i was able to patchelf it without too much trouble, but if we can build it from source, that will certainly be better 21:40:48
@mjm:midna.devmjmand having source code will hopefully help me figure out why it's crashing when i try to use it21:41:13
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensphilippe44 likes perl, so i hope you do too :)21:42:42
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephens(honestly not sure how much perl is actually here, there's a lot of c)21:43:11
@mjm:midna.devmjmcertainly seemed like it was C code that was getting me23:24:47
@mjm:midna.devmjmholy git submodules batman23:26:59
