@hexa:lossy.networkhexayeah23:41:03
@hexa:lossy.networkhexawe're currently running nix-eval-jobs master on h.n.o23:41:26
@hexa:lossy.networkhexabecause it seems to have resolved the situation23:42:22
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericson hexa (signing key rotation when): OK nice 23:42:29
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn EricsonI will bump the nix version in hydra to too the latest release23:42:40
@hexa:lossy.networkhexathere is no release with that patch yet 🙂 23:42:57

In reply to @hexa:lossy.network
there is no release with that patch yet 🙂
There is one regression in nix-eval-jobs that is not relevant for hydra but stops me from releasing it.

@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn EricsonOK00:06:20
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericson Mic92: FYI I am bypassing the flake now to call-package nix eval jobs 00:06:40
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn EricsonI like that or the overlay composition better because it is less dependency chaos00:06:55
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericsonwould want to do the same thing with nix itself00:07:16
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericson * would want to do the same thing with nix for hydra00:07:22
@joerg:thalheim.ioMic92

Mic92: FYI I am bypassing the flake now to call-package nix eval jobs
You mean rather than using a flake input you are fetching the updated source instead?
00:12:30
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericson yeah I am doing flake = false; 00:12:44
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericson and a callPackage 00:12:47
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericsonhttps://github.com/NixOS/hydra/pull/144100:12:55
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericson Mic92: how's nej and 2.26 going? 00:13:06
@joerg:thalheim.ioMic92Okay. Fine with me.00:13:29
@joerg:thalheim.ioMic92
In reply to @Ericson2314:matrix.org
Mic92: how's nej and 2.26 going?
I might want to re-focus on staging hydra and binary cache again for this week.
00:14:21
@joerg:thalheim.ioMic92Is 2.26 needed for something with dynamic derivations?00:14:50
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericson Mic92: I am not yet attempting dynamic drvs with hydra 00:15:53
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn EricsonI have some other things though relating to protocol versions I'd like to roll out, however00:16:19
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericsonbasically, I want to get hydra off the legacy ssh protocol00:16:29
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericsonthen I when we redo CA build traces, I don't have to worry about the legacy ssh protocol00:16:47
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericsonbut also just dedupcing code with hydra in general00:17:01
@joerg:thalheim.ioMic92I think the only regression with ssh-ng was fixed fortunately. Haven't yet got that confirmed.00:17:48
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn EricsonI imagine we'd fine some more :)00:18:01
@joerg:thalheim.ioMic92I can probably try rolling it in nixos-anywhere again 00:18:22
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn EricsonI hope we can delete legacy ssh entirely00:18:25
