@sternenseemann:systemli.orgsterni (he/him)hm refined github has a feature where you can alt click on the hidden comments thing and it tries to load all of them 17:06:41
@sternenseemann:systemli.orgsterni (he/him)it's still pretty clunky but better than clicking a million times17:06:57
@profpatsch:augsburg.oneProfpatschsternenseemann: IT WHAT?17:29:29
@profpatsch:augsburg.oneProfpatschTIL17:29:35
@sternenseemann:systemli.orgsterni (he/him)I’ve installed it now for this purpose only, haskell-updates is unusable without it now with the extra noise GitHub’s lack of base commit updating causes17:30:55
@profpatsch:augsburg.oneProfpatsch sternenseemann: Ah, refined github 17:36:13
@profpatsch:augsburg.oneProfpatschI thought vanilla17:36:15
@sternenseemann:systemli.orgsterni (he/him)hahaha no17:36:25
@profpatsch:augsburg.oneProfpatschI noticed again today how much Github has stagnated17:37:03
@profpatsch:augsburg.oneProfpatschThings that have been bugs for over a decade now17:37:12
@profpatsch:augsburg.oneProfpatschhonestly I don’t think it will improve17:37:25
@profpatsch:augsburg.oneProfpatschBut kinda scary to give a large extension like that access to your github session cookie17:37:57
@profpatsch:augsburg.oneProfpatschwho knows what it does17:38:02
@sternenseemann:systemli.orgsterni (he/him)yeah…17:38:09
@sternenseemann:systemli.orgsterni (he/him)i think on the refined github issue requesting this feature someone posted their user script for this17:38:51
@hellwolf:matrix.orghellwolfIs there anyways to override derivation to produce dwarf output such as https://downloads.haskell.org/~ghc/9.10.1/ghc-9.10.1-x86_64-fedora33-linux-dwarf.tar.xz ?19:31:18

In reply to @sternenseemann:systemli.org
it's still pretty clunky but better than clicking a million times
This has been a PITA. I'm thinking of just keeping the tab open indefinitely so at least I don't need to re-expand

@sternenseemann:systemli.orgsterni (he/him) this breakage relating to data-default* is something that can only happen with Haskell 12:32:52
@ash3en:matrix.orgultima12hi, can anyone help me with nix flake submodules? the problem is the github actions build process: https://github.com/tidalcycles/Tidal/pull/111910:26:36
@b:chreekat.netchreekatwhat happened this time15:04:36
@b:chreekat.netchreekatCommented on the PR15:04:44
@ash3en:matrix.orgultima12ah hi, sorry. I'm afraid I tried that before. it works in a local shell but not with github actions.15:05:48
@ash3en:matrix.orgultima12forgot to mention some things here: "I added ".?submodules=1" to my nix-build command. the submodules are checked out correctly. however i get the error, that a file in the submodule is missing. Non-Nix builds do work"15:06:51
@sliedes:hacklab.fiSami Liedes joined the room.15:21:47
@ash3en:matrix.orgultima12 oh @chreekat. damn. it looks like i used '.?submodules=1' with the single quotations marks. without it works 15:35:59
@ash3en:matrix.orgultima12🥶15:36:12
