@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericson the current 2.24-maintenance commit becomes ee1ce... Eelco :) 16:13:24
@Ericson2314:matrix.orgJohn Ericson Now we just need an ee1c0... to do better, once we hit that, Nix is complete! 16:14:09

@ice-cube69:matrix.orgbinarydigitz01Hi, I wanted to try out the experimental feature "recursive-nix", and could not find a way to pass sets like pkgs.emacs and even pkgs itself. I tried building my emacs configuration using nix recursive method: https://bpa.st/GXXA Could anyone tell me if its possible to pass sets to nix-instantiate some other way? 14:26:01
@ice-cube69:matrix.orgbinarydigitz01If there isn't a way currently, I was thinking there could be a nix function that takes a derivation and the arguements needed to build the derivation, then call the nix-initialise itself and pass the arguements via sockets14:30:40

@lisanna-dettwyler:matrix.orgLisannaFWIW, recursive nix is slated to be removed soon. You may also want https://matrix.to/#/#users:nixos.org for future support, this is a development channel ^-^17:45:32

It's feature complete as far as I can tell.

I tried many years ago. But there was no nice c++ Webserver... Maybe there is a decent c one?
