@sebtm:lodere.esSebTM * So I can just merge it on my own (without review) because it only can get better? 😄 I don't really care, I can just update my nixpkgs-fork but then I might just stop upstreaming it if there is not a high chance to get it merged in the end.00:52:50
@sebtm:lodere.esSebTM * So I can just merge it on my own (without review) because it only can get better? 😄 I mean, I don't really care (about the merge), I can just keep my nixpkgs-fork up2date but then I might just stop upstreaming it if there is no chance to get a review/merged.00:53:48

yeah, if there is no-one else interested in the code, self-merge should be fine

Hey, thanks for the ping - as matrix/element is currently very buggy for me I'm totally fine if you mark/request review on GitHub so I don't miss it 🙂

@sebtm:lodere.esSebTM Jan Tojnar: Do you know if the extensions in the gnome-shell-extensions are just a collection and copies of the original sources? Otherwise we could consider replace them within the build with our extension-builds instead of maintaining it twice (https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/316000) 08:19:41

@setunset:matrix.orgFreeVariableEvery now and then my Ctrl+Backspace behaviour (which allows to delete a single word, right-to-left relative to the cursor's location) is masked or somewhat broken by the obnoxious Ctrl+Alt+Backspace shortcut that GNOME keeps mapping to "Key sequence to kill X server"13:56:05
@setunset:matrix.orgFreeVariableIs there a way I can disable this once for all?13:56:17

I need to launch GNOME Tweaks to unmap it.13:56:39

weird, that was supposed to be fixed in GSConnect 57 https://github.com/GSConnect/gnome-shell-extension-gsconnect/issues/1781
