The most used user account isn't part of this list hence the login procedure is to select "other user" and then enter the name manually. I'm not sure what caused it but for some users SystemUser was set to true in
/var/lib/AccountsService/users/

I had a similar issue. I'm not sure what caused it but for some users SystemUser was set to true in
/var/lib/AccountsService/users/
