| Hey folks; I've hooked up an old Phillips LC7.2ELA screen to my NixOS machine as a temporary fix for a broken screen. The problem is Gnome doesn't seem to support the screen very well; for both the automatically selected resolution, as well as others I have tried which would be a close fit, the top and the bottom of the image are trimmed. I believe my model has the odd resolution of 1366x768; some models have 1920x1080 resolution, but I tried it and it doesn't work well (and the problem of trimmed top and bottom persists). I've attempted to add the resolution to | 18:16:49 | |

I've attempted to add the resolution to But in any case 1360x768 is available, and its the one I am using now; I somehow doubt that the trimmed top and bottom strips are explain by a 6 pixel mismatch in the width; I cannot see my status bar at all. | 18:21:01 | |
