I absolutely do not want to discourage you, but my first advice would perhaps be to look for an easier place to start? Even just getting things built with a hypothetical perfect merge is a big slow challenge Haha fair enough.
I've built my own copy of nixpkgs before, just haven't pushed anything upstream yet, and wanted to at least get an idea of what the process looks like. No promise it'll bear any fruit, but I'd like to play around in a way that I can upstream any fixes I do get working. | 02:46:48 |
