Hello. Is patching the XKB keyboard config (xorg.xkeyboardconfig package in Nixpkgs) the right way to make F13 et al. function like, well, F13 et al. and not weird XF86Somethings? Should I patch $out/etc/X11/xkb/symbols/inet, $out/share/X11/xkb/symbols/inet or both? I know this question is very old, but has anyone found a reasonable way of using a customized keyboard layout? I'm guessing, but you're not getting the xkb symbols into the correct folders, and therefore they are not showing up? Like if Wayland utelizes X11 XKB standards, then that seems like the right place to check. But again, I'm not sure | 21:30:51 |

Just tested the example from https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/76591#pullrequestreview-336927961 in VM and I do not see the layout listed in Control Center on either Wayland session or X11. | 02:16:59 |
