Is it ok to update this from GNOME Software?
Yep, that’s a flatpak runtime. You can go ahead and click update.

@sigmasquadron:matrix.orgSigmaSquadron If you prefer doing it through the terminal, flatpak update will yield the same result. 01:47:01

@fabianhjr:matrix.orgFabián HerediaHi, I rebased / autosquashed locally to test gnome 45 on nixos, would it help if I pushed that rebase + autosquash to the gnome branch?20:59:35
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnar Fabián Heredia: we usually limit the force pushes to avoid accidentally overwriting each others’ work, pre-announcing them in the PR. bobby285271 is currently driving the PR so best consult them 21:04:24
@fabianhjr:matrix.orgFabián HerediaSure, won't push unless given the go ahead :321:07:49
@fabianhjr:matrix.orgFabián Herediajust figured since there were a couple of conflicts it might be of interest21:08:07
@fabianhjr:matrix.orgFabián HerediaAnyways, here is the rebased and autosquash branch if anyone wants to use it: https://github.com/LibreCybernetics/nixpkgs/tree/gnome-rebased21:21:56

GNOME Archive Manager is outdated and should no longer be used. Try using Files or fusemount instead.

cifre: look into ~/.local/share/applications
I've been having this problem with newly installed flatpaks as well, where the icons don't show and all i get is this generic cogwheel icon - which is fixed upon relogging.
14:00:12
@ThorHop:matrix.org@ThorHop:matrix.orgThe question is can a hook be shoehorned into flatpak so that the icon cache is automatically refreshed for NixOS users after an install.14:01:02

There are still some workflows that require Archive Manager and it is still maintained (it has recently been ported to GTK 4)

I am unable to reproduce, could you please open an issue with detailed steps and description of your environment?

it was superseded by Files, however.
