@piegames:matrix.orgpiegamesI've got a small problem with my libglade PR: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/155061/commits/d4e861be35c173f7bbfbe325464069ccb1f66a0a20:30:31
@piegames:matrix.orgpiegames That commit removes seemingly optional dependencies from gtk-sharp. Turns out, their presence makes that package produce more bindings. For example, now gnome-sharp is missing libglade-sharp. 20:31:57
@piegames:matrix.orgpiegames Dependents of gnome-sharp are tomboy, pdfmod, and most notably monodevelop 20:32:27
@piegames:matrix.orgpiegamesOkay: so all of these are broken in some form so I'll just remove them20:46:35
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan TojnarI vaguely remember that monodevelop should work with GTK 322:36:43
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnarhmm, apparently not22:38:28
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnarand the project is dead https://github.com/mono/monodevelop22:38:36
@piegames:matrix.orgpiegamesMoreover, it is said to be broken in nixpkgs since 201822:38:54
@jonringer:matrix.orgjonringerMy confidence in .net is pretty low. .net core was a sane step. But the whole ecosystem just feels hacked together.22:50:20

@hpfr:matrix.orghpfr I've added hardware.bluetooth.settings.Policy.AutoEnable = false; but it is still enabled on startup. bluetooth on my laptop seems to aggressively talk to anything it can and I can't find how to set devices to disconnected (but paired) by default in GNOME, so I want to disable it on boot. is there something I'm missing here? 01:17:22
@hpfr:matrix.orghpfr * I've added hardware.bluetooth.settings.Policy.AutoEnable = false; but it is still enabled on startup. bluetooth on my laptop seems to aggressively talk to anything it can (which causes repeated notifications whenever something is nearby) and I can't find how to set devices to disconnected (but paired) by default in GNOME, so I want to disable it on boot. is there something I'm missing here? 01:17:54
@piegames:matrix.orgpiegames You could mkForce that setting FWIW 10:41:54
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnar mkForce would only help if there was a conflict 11:22:25
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnar * mkForce would only help if there was a conflict, which one would notice 11:23:25
@piegames:matrix.orgpiegamesAh, then I misunderstood the problem12:20:48
@hpfr:matrix.orghpfryeah it is set in the bluetooth conf just fine, so I guess it's not really a Nix problem14:57:03

@praduca:matrix.orgFlávio Martins PradoHello14:19:50
@praduca:matrix.orgFlávio Martins Pradoanyone knows if nautilus doesn't have anymore the "open terminal here" option in nixos?14:20:30
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnar Flávio Martins Prado: it does for me 15:52:09
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnar Flávio Martins Prado: though it is handled by extension which is part of gnome-terminal 15:55:01
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnar (you need to have libterminal-nautilus.so in /run/current-system/sw/lib/nautilus/extensions-3.0) 15:55:33
