felschr | I'm experiencing a weird issue with nautilus lately. At some point it started showing all my system's mounted btrfs subvolumes in the sidebar. I'm fairly sure it didn't show all of them previously. Also, when I got to "Other Locations" I don't see any unmounted disks anymore. I can still see my unmounted disks in gnome-disks. And if I mount them, they show up in nautilus. | 13:14:00 |

Jan Tojnar | weird, I see something like that too | 18:10:24 |
Jan Tojnar | or rather the opposite – a mounted drive that was visible in the sidebar in the past is no longer shown | 18:11:11 |
Jan Tojnar | there are some heuristics that determine whether a drive will be shown (IIRC, in udisks2 or libblockdev) | 18:12:16 |
Jan Tojnar | but I have not seen any relevant component updated recently | 18:12:35 |
Jan Tojnar | Actually, https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/147606 seems to have sneaked by me | 18:20:48 |

felschr | In reply to @jtojnar:matrix.org but I have not seen any relevant component updated recently I've been having this issue more than a month, I think. I kinda assumed it would fix itself after a while but it didn't. | 19:47:00 |

Jan Tojnar | TheOPtimal: they get the users from accounsservice. Make sure you have your shell listed in /etc/shells, your name is not blacklisted and 500 ≤ uid < 1000 | 12:44:00 |
