 evils | ok, seems to happen if i have easyeffects input monitoring and something running at 128/96000 (tried with that being easyeffects and mpv separately, both do it)
with 256/96000 it doesn't happen spontaneously, but i can trigger it by running stress
there is an audible stutter associated with it going into high latency
so i think it's running out of buffer and that's triggering something to default to a system wide safe mode until the interface is reset
i'd love to know what the fallback mode is, how to avoid it going into it (as i'm just monitoring, not recording)
