@rampoina:matrix.orgRampoinacan't give much feedback on the mixing itself, I'm far from a sound designer, my ear isn't good for those things10:30:32
@rampoina:matrix.orgRampoinamaybe the bass could be louder10:30:47
@rampoina:matrix.orgRampoinathe singing is also sometimes a bit out of tune10:31:30
@rampoina:matrix.orgRampoinaI like the music though, nice vibe, good job 👍10:31:54

That's okay, was very much also looking for feedback on the accuracy and whatnot before it's too late. I was kinda on the fence about doing more vocal takes, but if the intonation issues are noticeable by other musicians I think I'd better, as it's not really something I can use autotune on. Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback!

Sure no problem. The melody sounds tough to sing, it's not like you're screaming out of tune, it's small (but noticeable to me at least).

@rampoina:matrix.orgRampoinait's a bit weird that the piano is so dominant on the left ear11:40:09
@rampoina:matrix.orgRampoinaand maybe the voice could be a bit softer11:40:56

A bolder pan choice than I usually go for, but dang it's been hard to get the guitar and piano to not conflict when they have so much frequency overlap.

In the back... It's a good idea I think, I'll just need to study more to figure out how to achieve it 🤔 I'm not worried about doing more work, I just want it to sound good and to improve my production skills (but also, I'm not gonna become a master overnight and I must accept that)
