| nrdxp | not sure how the macs are setup here, but we have a pretty nice setup at work that allows us to configure our Macs in a psuedo declarative style by running them in qemu on nixos as systemd services on actual mac hardware (for legal reasons).
It allows us to simply restart the service which will destory the existing state, reload a new one from a pristine zfs snapshot of the OSX install, and then run a script that install nix, nix-darwin and then loads our darwin config like a virtual nixos-rebuild. It's almost as nice as using NixOS, but debugging is more painful.
Anyway, maybe such a setup would be beneficial here?
