@jopejoe1:matrix.orgjopejoe1 (4094@39c3)Currently too tired to realy think much about which makes more sense, and can still change it at a later point.23:48:07

@vcunat:matrix.orgvcunat

quic patches on top that have been merged into openssl 3.5

IIRC the official openssl in the end integrated a different API for QUIC than quictls had.

@xanderio:bitflip.jetztxanderioIt's probably to late to include dropping odoo 16 in 25.11? It's been out of support since september. https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/46524112:43:05
@vcunat:matrix.orgvcunat meta.knownVulnerabilities = [ "EOL explanation" ]; could be a middle ground. I've seen it used in nixpkgs sometimes. 12:48:33
@hexa:lossy.networkhexaI think dropping it during beta is still viable, we have odoo 17 after all12:50:58
@leona:leona.isleonaI would also say that dropping it now is fine12:52:07
@xanderio:bitflip.jetztxanderioAdding the backport release-25.11 should be enough than?13:00:43
@leona:leona.isleona Yes 13:00:53
@leona:leona.isleona(And security)13:00:57
@xanderio:bitflip.jetztxanderioShould a release note entry regarding this be added to the nixpkgs or nixos notes? Personally I'm not even sure if this needs a release note entry.13:18:40
@leona:leona.isleonaNixpkgs release notes in that case, as not a modification to a NixOS module13:20:06
