Ive come to assist with the nix docs issues. Time to read all the existing docs and tinker i think. Nix looks very cool and is the first program ive seen that makes me want to read the docs and actually help with fixing the issues. Iām going to put together the āThis Month in Nix Docsā today but Iāve been away for the last month. Anyone have suggestions for highlights? Cool, thanks a lot! Some highlights:
- A lot of us met at NixCon!
- New section in the Nix manual: https://nixos.org/manual/nix/unstable/language/import-from-derivation
- Reworked section on derivations in the Nix manual: https://nixos.org/manual/nix/unstable/language/derivations
- We removed a bunch of mentions of
nix-env in the Nixpkgs manual (which was not always trivial), and still going
