@adam:robins.wtf@adam:robins.wtf I can’t find a traffic usage report but I doubt I’m using even 1TB 19:11:52

@hexa:lossy.networkhexathe nixos wiki consumed 0.097 TB this month19:17:20
@magic_rb:matrix.redalder.orgmagic_rbBut truth be told, i dont actually know. I dont have metrics on it19:17:33
@hexa:lossy.networkhexafrankly all of my private servers say 0/20 TB 😄 19:17:49
@adam:robins.wtf@adam:robins.wtf That’s what mine say  19:18:01

What's the difference between this room and the other Nix/NixOS room?
focus mostly. It's nice to have these rooms for more specific purposes because you can just drop a message in here and leave for a day and still feel pretty good that someone knowledgeable on the subject will have seen it

So this is a place I can get support with some nix-shell issues?
15:29:15
@elvishjerricco:matrix.orgElvishJerriccooh, sorry, "system operations" is a term largely referring to the deployment and management of machine instances15:29:41
@elvishjerricco:matrix.orgElvishJerriccoso this room is for messages focused on that topic15:29:57
@3von:matrix.org3vonYou're speaking another language? lol. What's a machine instance?15:32:13
@elvishjerricco:matrix.orgElvishJerriccoI guess if you want the most applicable / vaguely googleable word, this room is for "devops" type stuff15:33:08
@elvishjerricco:matrix.orgElvishJerricco(kinda; that word has grown to meaninglessness, but you'll get the idea looking it up)15:33:41
@k900:0upti.meK900To put it very simply, this room is for big server admins to discuss big server admin things15:35:29
