 Lisanna | Hello! I'm Lisanna. I signed on to be a mentor for my GSoC idea to refactor the remote building protocol the daemon uses when connected to over SSH. I have about a decade of various software engineering and software integration experience, mostly at Intel, and mostly with an HPC background, so I am very interested in making the remote building experience even better. | Aryan | Hi everyone! I’m Aryan Madhusudhanan, a student at Amrita University, India. I’m very excited to see NixOS in GSoC this year, and I’m interested in the 'Review Nixpkgs PRs' project.
Although I currently run Arch due to some hardware compatibility issues, I use Nix daily for my devShells and run NixOS in virtual machines for testing. I am also working on a project similar to Home-Manager for Windows.
I’ve been looking for a way to get more involved in the community, and I’d love to help with reviewing updates, code changes, and improving smoke tests in Nixpkgs.
