Because just throwing patches on top of things to produce more fast rarely leads to things actually being more fast From my experience, daily-driving CachyOS's kernel on Arch and now on NixOS for about a year and using their Proton flavour in desktop environment, it had some performance boost and better scheduling. Be it, I would never use BORE scheduler in server environment | 16:17:30 |
