@genevieve:envs.netgenevieveI'm trying to run ACT with FFXIV. FFXIV works perfectly with xivlauncher, but I'm having trouble getting ACT to run in the same wineprefix. As far as I can tell, xivlauncher is in a steam-run FHS environment and uses its own custom wine build, so I grabbed the environment variables from the process.15:17:44
@genevieve:envs.netgenevieve However when I exporting them and run steam-run ~/.xlcore/compatibilitytool/beta/wine-xiv-staging-fsync-git-8.5.r4.g4211bac7/bin/wine64 ~/.xlcore/wineprefix/drive_c/ACT/Advanced\ Combat\ Tracker.exe I get " Server is running with WINEESYNC but this process is not", which is odd, since WINEESYNC (and all the other variables) are set 15:18:21
@genevieve:envs.netgenevieveUltimately what I think my question boils down to is, how can I set a bunch of custom environment variables inside of a steam-run session?15:19:44
@k900:0upti.meK900Try setting them inside of steam-run15:20:24
@k900:0upti.meK900 As in steam-run env FOO=bar HONK=42 /some/program 15:20:35
@genevieve:envs.netgenevieveok that's pretty simple 😅 let me give it a try. thanks!15:21:45
@genevieve:envs.netgenevieveOK, a few minor errors, but it's running and detecting the process!15:30:24
@genevieve:envs.netgenevieveoh, idk if there are other FFXIV players here but it turns out there's a much easier way with an actually open source plugin! https://github.com/marzent/IINACT/15:48:54

@k900:0upti.meK900And also added suyu-git and sudachi and a shared helper to build all of them19:20:23
@k900:0upti.meK900So adding more forks is easier later19:20:29
@k900:0upti.meK900sudachi doesn't actually build though19:20:34
