| Seems, I am running into the same issue. @brian:bmcgee.ie did you figure out some work around? | 14:16:29 | |

I'm looking into flake-parts and saw that disko has a module definition for it, but now I'm wondering what the benefit of that over the NixOS module is? will it even apply all the same NixOS config (filesystems etc) that the NixOS module does? | 18:25:10

| It allows you to output disko configs from your flake which can be useful for some. You still need the nixos module for the real functionality. | 02:14:49 | |

I see, so how would I apply a disko config from a flakes diskoConfigurations to my nixos config? | 17:33:51

| You just import the disko configuration in your main system config, so if your flake outputs diskoConfigurations.my-pc you can import self.diskoConfigurations.my-pc in your system config and it will apply the config. | 01:31:14 | |

| Hi friends | 15:39:03 | |
| I’m struggling to find a use case for disko | 15:39:12 | |
| What are some of the most common use cases? | 15:39:21 | |
| And, does it only ever make sense for a computer you know the hardware for? For example, a config for one specific mini pc which will be the same disks always, or vs a config for several different devices on a home network | 15:40:20 | |
| 16:52:42 | ||
| My best use case is in virtualisation. Like declaring how big your disk in a virtual machine is. | 20:21:16 | |
| ooo that’s a really good use case… | 20:21:43 | |
| can disko be used to re-configure partitions? currently, system is setup like this:
But really, I want to move the | 23:58:16
