In reply to @emilazy:matrix.org
Grimmauld (any/all): (have we successfully sniped you into doing the marking btw)

Okay fine, but you do the merge then, and I want an approve from k900 too. I am happy to play the bad guy breaking peoples packages, but it better have some active people backing me there :)

Is pyside fixed, or am I doing that too now?

20:32:51
@k900:0upti.meK900 I can do the thing but either much later or tomorrow 20:33:55
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilyI don't care about being the bad guy, I just have too many in-flight branches :P20:37:09
@grimmauld:grapevine.grimmauld.deGrimmauld (any/all)Fair enough. I'll poke tomorrow evening if I have to do pyside too. Without pyside, drafting probably won't take too long (though I'll have to look through stuff like release-small.nix too - it did contain stuff that pulled libsoup2, and I wouldn't be surprised if qtwebengine was in there too)20:39:03

@khalil:ksantana.netKhalil Santana* Arere Kvantun-based themes possible in NixOS Unstable + KDE Plasma 6?16:20:12
@khalil:ksantana.netKhalil Santana* Are Kvantun-based themes possible in NixOS Unstable + KDE Plasma 6?16:20:22
@khalil:ksantana.netKhalil SantanaOK, got it working, I needed to use the QT6 version of Kvantun and manually download the theme for some reason16:56:01
@grimmauld:grapevine.grimmauld.deGrimmauld (any/all)okay, time to look into qtwebengine deprecation17:12:58
@emilazy:matrix.orgemily K900: do you know how soon Plasma 5 drop will land btw 17:16:36
@k900:0upti.meK900As soon as I have spoons17:16:53
@k900:0upti.meK900You can probably help by cleaning up the alias situation17:17:05
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilyI'm busy cleaning up my own alias situation on my own mass-drop branch17:18:59
@grimmauld:grapevine.grimmauld.deGrimmauld (any/all)awww, i'll be killing frescobaldi... So many memories from my childhood, but i guess if i really care i should update it. Upstream is on qt6...17:47:45

emily K900 PR is there, this'll be "fun"
18:58:36
@emilazy:matrix.orgemily withWebEngine should be true by default for the backport 18:59:14
@grimmauld:grapevine.grimmauld.deGrimmauld (any/all)yes, but not for unstable18:59:31
@emilazy:matrix.orgemily we need to do true by default → turn to false in the packages that don't need it → false by default in a follow-up PR 18:59:35
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilywell ok18:59:40
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilyit is generally easier to do the backportable things on unstable and then do the non-backportable things on top but sure18:59:50
@grimmauld:grapevine.grimmauld.deGrimmauld (any/all)i'd have just edited the commits in a manual backport and put the default true in there19:00:13
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilyFWIW Subsurface supports Qt 6 and apparently doesn't even use WebEngine on 5, but we don't have to fix that now19:00:12
@grimmauld:grapevine.grimmauld.deGrimmauld (any/all)not on the version we have19:00:30
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilywell, it still doesn't use WebEngine on 5 regardless of vresion :P19:00:41
@emilazy:matrix.orgemily* well, it still doesn't use WebEngine on 5 regardless of version :P19:00:43
@emilazy:matrix.orgemily what I mean is that we need to go through the pyside2 users 19:00:55
@grimmauld:grapevine.grimmauld.deGrimmauld (any/all)yes19:00:55
