K900 | The big blocker was enabling debug info for Qt which we have done now | 19:12:08 |
K900 | (except qtwebengine, because that debuginfo is massive) | 19:12:27 |
eliasp | fantastic! looking forward to it! | 19:12:35 |
eliasp | yeah, but there are plenty of crashes in other areas too which could profit from some work and if there'd ever be a qtwebengine related one, then I'll just have to build it by myself (even though that hurts a lot! 😆) | 19:13:27 |
K900 | So right now the plan would be something like
get the gdb glue working again (idk, needs investigating) set up a debuginfod (hard because infra is spread very thin already) plumb everything to the KDE infra | 19:13:40 |

eliasp | if it makes any sense, write it down as an issue or in the wiki or so, so others could help... I might be able to do a little work during the winter holidays now | 19:14:45 |

K900 | I have context on the GDB thing | 19:15:24 |
K900 | Roughly | 19:15:26 |
K900 | I just need to find time | 19:15:30 |
K900 | Which I will hopefully have this weekend | 19:15:36 |
K900 | And infra is not really something you can affect | 19:15:52 |
eliasp | yeah, time - usually the hardest problem for me, everything else is doable :D | 19:15:56 |
eliasp | sure | 19:15:59 |

| @stablejoy:matrix.org left the room. | 05:08:26 |
K900 | OK so I fixed drkonqi | 07:24:23 |
K900 | Self-inflicted, of course | 07:24:26 |
K900 | https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/367035 | 07:24:47 |
K900 | Unexpectedly stumbled over an objfile (/nix/store/82lh8f5wi6ya5jkcwr036md8630j652d-nghttp2-1.64.0-lib/lib/libnghttp2.so.14.28.3) without build_id. Not creating payload. | 07:34:38 |

| 07:34:40 |
K900 | Welp | 07:34:41 |
eliasp | thank you! | 15:53:23 |
K900 | So I guess now the question is | 16:23:58 |
K900 | Do we enable build-ids globally | 16:24:02 |
K900 | Do we make drkonqi not barf on that | 16:24:08 |
K900 | Or what | 16:24:09 |

mr-qubo | I have a problem with sddm lock screen. When I move a mouse, normally password prompt should show up. But for me black screen appears. I can still type in password and unlock, after which desktop appears normally. This however only happens with external monitor and with automatic lock (if I lock manually from start menu it works correctly). Any ideas what's wrong? | 04:28:05 |
mr-qubo | I found this in journal:
