@k900:0upti.meK900Don't you just love completely bespoke configure scripts09:19:12
@k900:0upti.meK900And of course they have a vendored ffmpeg, which comes with another 8k lines of bespoke configure script09:24:31
@k900:0upti.meK900OK, I give up09:36:18
@k900:0upti.meK900Officially09:36:23
@k900:0upti.meK900Should just drop it and alias it to Kodi09:37:22

@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldrhttps://api.kde.org/frameworks/kconfig/html/classKConfigGroup.html#a754c98908f1fa22924b8a8a987cd25ba22:53:22
@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldr

You should not call any functions on an invalid group.

22:53:28
@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldr so, with my understanding of the code, m_config could be invalid, m_defaultConfig valid, and it would only call functions on the invalid KConfigGroup! fun! 22:54:03
@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldrrebuilding with kwin changed sure is fun :(23:02:34

@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldr oh, there are other logic issues... a touchpad is a pointer device... so it's picking the pointer device group and setting it as the new default config for that device, than looking on that pointer group to find the touchpad group 03:36:51
@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldr so while [Libinput][Defaults][Touchpad] is desired, [Libinput][Defaults][Pointer][Touchpad] needs to be used if there is a Pointer defaults group! 03:37:36
@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldrso I guess I'll send that patch since now it works05:34:35
@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldrhttps://gist.github.com/samueldr/085abaeaa0f35f66f8c238d7308af8e405:35:23
@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldr ignore the first commit, it's not needed in the end, though I still don't get why it's checking for validity at that place... it ends-up used within defaultValue 07:00:08
@samueldr:matrix.orgsamueldrand, for anyone following at home, change sent https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/324407:23:19

@k900:0upti.meK900Did a small review on the leftover Qt 5.1{2,4} packages10:19:45
@k900:0upti.meK900Basically I think there's three that may be worth fixing10:27:33
@k900:0upti.meK900And then we can rip the band-aid off10:27:39
@k900:0upti.meK900 Unfortunately, one of the three is mythtv 10:27:48
@k900:0upti.meK900OK, so I manually build-tested a whole bunch of stuff13:22:44
@k900:0upti.meK900 And now it's down to 8 packages that are very dead, foxitreader and mythtv 13:22:59

@k900:0upti.meK900 Can someone test foxitreader because I feel like it might be geoblocked 13:26:35
@hexa:lossy.networkhexaon 201765?13:29:48
