@k900:0upti.meK900 Unexpectedly stumbled over an objfile (/nix/store/82lh8f5wi6ya5jkcwr036md8630j652d-nghttp2-1.64.0-lib/lib/libnghttp2.so.14.28.3) without build_id. Not creating payload.

@mr-qubo:matrix.orgmr-quboI have a problem with sddm lock screen. When I move a mouse, normally password prompt should show up. But for me black screen appears. I can still type in password and unlock, after which desktop appears normally. This however only happens with external monitor and with automatic lock (if I lock manually from start menu it works correctly). Any ideas what's wrong?04:28:05

I found this in journal:

This should be fixed with the Qt updates in staging-next, I think

@k900:0upti.meK900OK so 08:08:37
@k900:0upti.meK900People keep getting really weird SDDM behaviors on X1108:08:48
@k900:0upti.meK900Should we enable Wayland by default? 08:08:55
@k900:0upti.meK900Upstream does not recommend it quite yet but it is generally usable 08:09:10
@k900:0upti.meK900It's either that or someone needs to repro the SDDM issues 08:32:57
@k900:0upti.meK900And figure out what the hell breaks it 08:33:06
@sigmasquadron:matrix.orgFernando Rodrigues If Wayland gets enabled by default, will SDDM use weston or kwin? 09:24:14
@sigmasquadron:matrix.orgFernando Rodrigues In my experience, kwin has worked flawlessly. Weston had some display scaling issues. 09:24:47
@k900:0upti.meK900I think kwin makes more sense given the primary target for this is new Plasma spin users09:25:14
@k900:0upti.meK900It's also what Plasma people seem to want distros to ship 09:25:55
@k900:0upti.meK900Honestly I should stop thinking about this 09:27:25

@mjm:midna.devmjmi've had my systems using wayland for sddm for quite a while now with no issues. i'm in favor of enabling it by default.16:11:07

@eliasp:kde.orgeliasp Same for me - zero issues observed since I switched to sddm + wayland (kwin). 22:52:19

@aktaboot:tchncs.deaktaboot

I was having an issue with plasma starting if xdg.desktop.portal.config was not set for KDE, if another portal was present
