Is it just me or does clipboard copy&paste not work with xwayland?
I think that are just flatpak things...

@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patelnow that I'm a bit more free, can get troubleshooting the kwallet auto unlock issue14:57:50
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patelhow do I start though?14:57:59
@k900:0upti.meK900What issue?14:58:15
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Pateldoesn't automatically unlock, I need to open the kdewalletmanager to unlock14:58:41
@k900:0upti.meK900Do you have the PAM modules enabled?14:58:55
@k900:0upti.meK900And does your wallet password match your login password?14:59:02
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patelthe password's empty (for convenience's sake) but also tried with same password as my user14:59:05
@k900:0upti.meK900Empty password will not auto-unlock, it should just do nothing14:59:24
@k900:0upti.meK900Though it also should not require unlocking later14:59:34
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patel

also yes, I have the pam modules enabled; or I think this should enable them

  security.pam.services.login.kwallet.enable = true;
  security.pam.services.login.kwallet.package = pkgs.kdePackages.kwallet;
15:00:34
@k900:0upti.meK900What display manager are you using?15:00:52
@mjm:midna.devmjmare you using autologin with sddm or no?15:00:53
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patel

@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patelwas using with sddm but not anymore, should I give sddm a try again?15:01:28
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patelfor now, logging in from the tty15:02:03
@mjm:midna.devmjmyeah i don't think it will auto-unlock if you login from tty15:02:44
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham PatelI had this issue even when I was using sddm, I'll try re-enabling sddm 15:03:26
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Pateloh forgot to mention a pretty major thing15:07:13
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham PatelI'm not on KDE15:07:19
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patelwell was (KDE6), switched to hyprland15:07:30
@mjm:midna.devmjmyou should be able to get it working if you use sddm i think15:07:44
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patelthough this is a clean install, formatted a while ago so no remnants should be there, not even in $HOME15:07:56
@mjm:midna.devmjmassuming you are actually entering your password at sddm15:08:17
@k900:0upti.meK900I'm actually not sure, there might be a user service you need to enable15:09:00
@k900:0upti.meK900To get the handover to work15:09:05
@mjm:midna.devmjmtrue, idk what needs to be started to receive it15:09:14
@mjm:midna.devmjmpresumably something15:09:30
@thefossguy:matrix.orgPratham Patelrebooted and logged in via sddm still no workey15:10:34
