K900 ⚡️ | Yeah that's what I did | 17:21:00 |
K900 ⚡️ | I basically went through it and fixed everything that didn't nixpkgs-review | 17:25:26 |
K900 ⚡️ | Including plamo and a few other things | 17:25:43 |
K900 ⚡️ | Also I've been running it here pretty much since release hour | 17:25:59 |
Ulrik Strid | In reply to @k900:0upti.me Yes, it's on master as of ~a couple hours ago Building now, is there anything you want me to test when running it other than the multiscreen stuff? | 17:27:09 |
K900 ⚡️ | Not really | 17:27:30 |
K900 ⚡️ | I've been running the beta on all my machines | 17:27:36 |
K900 ⚡️ | And it's been rock solid | 17:27:40 |
K900 ⚡️ | So I'm inclined to just merge when I'm done with the file stuff | 17:27:50 |
Ulrik Strid | Forgot about the window tiling stuff, this is a pretty cool release | 17:34:38 |
K900 ⚡️ | @samueldr do you have anything aarch64 on hand you can run-test kwin on? | 17:35:17 |
K900 ⚡️ | I'll have to wire up a capture card to test here | 17:35:36 |
samueldr | my main issue is with building the everything else | 17:38:21 |
samueldr | e.g. I can test against master | 17:38:34 |
samueldr | 5.26.90 seemed to be fine on my wormdingler | 17:38:58 |
samueldr | [existing atomic modesetting and kms/drm issues notwithstanding] | 17:39:28 |
K900 ⚡️ | It should be fine against master | 17:39:35 |
K900 ⚡️ | Just the Plasma stuff that changed | 17:39:46 |
K900 ⚡️ | So it's like 50 builds and they're pretty small ones | 17:39:57 |
samueldr | yeah, can launch that in a bit | 17:48:11 |
K900 ⚡️ | @samueldr I just realized I have most of it built | 19:03:23 |
K900 ⚡️ | I can build the final few bits and push up to my cache | 19:03:33 |
samueldr | too late | 19:06:57 |
K900 ⚡️ | Guess I'll just merge then | 19:12:21 |
K900 ⚡️ | I'm running out of things to test | 19:12:25 |

Gavin Zhao | I recently discovered that libeopxy does not get installed with KWin when I was compiling a KWin plugin with Nix. For users this is not an issue, but some KWin headers uses libepoxy headers, so maybe libepoxy should be listed as a propagatedBuildInput somewhere? | 02:20:24 |
K900 ⚡️ | We'd need to split off the dev output for that | 06:06:01 |
K900 ⚡️ | And only propagate libepoxy there | 06:06:12 |
K900 ⚡️ | But I don't see why we shouldn't just do that | 06:06:23 |
K900 ⚡️ | Wow | 12:15:46 |
