@hexa:lossy.networkhexaI did confirm myself now and it looks like something else12:37:12

@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.deJanne HeßThe screenshot is from the devoted teal duck12:37:40
@hexa:lossy.networkhexaah … lol.12:37:47
@hexa:lossy.networkhexa☁️12:37:51
@hexa:lossy.networkhexawhat lands in lowprio btw?12:38:04
@hexa:lossy.networkhexado you penalize my PRs?12:38:16
@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.deJanne Heßyes, yours and emily's12:38:35
@hexa:lossy.networkhexaman, we're hyperactive apparently12:38:44
@hexa:lossy.networkhexaso I understand12:38:46
@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.deJanne Heßcole shoveled builds manually there at some point when the queues were too full and recent PRs took too long to build12:39:09
@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.deJanne Heßthe plan is to wait for the darwin queues to be mostly empty and then manually shovel the jobs back12:39:23
@hexa:lossy.networkhexawondering if just letting old jobs timeout would be reasonable12:40:12
@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.deJanne Heß Simon Hauser wanted to build something that removes jobs for closed PRs. But he's a bit busy right now with other stuff 12:40:50
@cole-h:matrix.orgcole-h
In reply to @simon.hauser:helsinki-systems.de
cole-h: you can drop the hosted rabbitmq. We shoveled the queues
Woot! Thank you, will do that tomorrow (just in case)
15:23:04
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephenswould it make sense to reset the darwin queues to zero and start from now, so we can gain an idea of how things run with a clean slate?20:21:55

I'll see how fast it chews through them, it's about 1000 builds per 24h and 5k remaining
20:26:09
@hexa:lossy.networkhexaand would it make sense to deploy harmonia everywhere and enable sharing of stores between machines of the same architecture?20:26:35
@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.deJanne Heß It might, yeah 🤔 20:27:17
@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.deJanne HeßOr we just get rid of x86_64-darwin because it's dead 😏20:28:10
@hexa:lossy.networkhexatwo cases come to mind: multiple jobs building into staging and changes to the same PR, but the builds land on another builder20:28:30
@emilazy:matrix.orgemily x86_64-darwin build failures should track aarch64-darwin much more reliably on unstable these days 20:44:40
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilybut not on 24.1120:44:42
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilyaren't there still actual physical Intel Macs for ofborg though?20:45:06
@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.deJanne Heßthere are (still)20:51:49
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilyseems like a waste not to use them :)20:57:16
@emilazy:matrix.orgemily(though I guess electricity cost is a thing)20:57:26
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensjust ship them somewhere with cheap electricity costs :)20:58:34
@hexa:lossy.networkhexathey are provided by macstadium20:59:53
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilyoh, I thought it was the physical machines21:00:10
