great i was wondering why it wasn't in the list. is this a bug or a feature?

There's been an issue open for like a year: https://github.com/vector-im/element-web/issues/17293

Unfortunately, I think it's basically blocked on peeking over federation, which seems like it's been "six months out" for the past three years.

I would normally guess all rooms that are on that space channel list are attached to that space. i still have #devos:nixos.org and #deploy-rs:nixos.org with no "space"

this sometimes happens, a settings>clearing cache (in element not in android) usually resolves it
