| kraftnix | is anyone having issues connecting to synapse homeservers using the element-desktop on unstable (1.9.4)? 1.9.2 from stable works fine but, 1.9.4 hangs on signing in with no obvious logged errors on either synapse nor element-desktop logs/console. On Tuesday, 23rd November we plan to release Synapse 1.47.1 to address a single high severity issue. Synapse is a Matrix homeserver implementation developed by the matrix.org team and the wider Matrix community.

| Sumner Evans | Looking to reorganize the Matrix files in nixpkgs. Main things I think we should do are:
- move all Matrix modules to
nixos/modules/services/matrix/
- move all of the Matrix servers/appservices to
pkgs/servers/matrix/
- move all of the Matrix bots to
pkgs/applications/networking/matrix/
Does this seem sane? Any suggestions?
