I think we should ship / use an updated version of twisted that does not require TLS1.0 / TLS1.1 (!) on mail / smtp servers. Currently it's 20.3.0

That means that you can create rooms that are join-able if you are in a particular space. For example, this room could be set to joinable by anyone in the #community:nixos.org space.
