John Ericson | hexa (signing key rotation when): I have queued up a number of changes on master, and so I think it would be good to think about how to deploy | 00:24:08 |
John Ericson | we could jump to the front and bisect, but I think probably walking linearly through the --first-parent history is more prudent | 00:24:31 |
hexa | I think bumping to HEAD on my private hydra would be a start | 00:25:27 |

hexa | cool, have to debug why nix doesn't like my colmena flake anymore first 🙂 | 00:28:17 |
hexa | https://github.com/zhaofengli/colmena/issues/259 | 00:28:57 |
hexa | ok | 00:46:54 |
hexa | ok, start an eval and will check back tomorrow | 01:02:35 |
hexa | * ok, started an eval and will check back tomorrow | 01:02:39 |
John Ericson | oh sheesh sorry not sure how i missed that you replied right away! | 05:14:41 |
John Ericson | OK, fingers crossed! | 05:15:12 |
Mic92 | ok with me. | 06:22:14 |
Mic92 | Maybe some sort of use-after-free? | 06:23:17 |
Mic92 | hexa (signing key rotation when): forwarded this crash to nan for inspection. | 06:28:07 |
Mic92 | Revert doesn't sound like a bad call. The code looks dangerous. | 06:56:11 |
hexa | was fixed by this commit | 10:04:07 |
hexa | no crashes since | 10:04:26 |
hexa | looked fine, will give the staging folks some time to finish up and then deploy the update | 15:48:58 |
John Ericson | hexa (signing key rotation when): OK sweet! | 15:50:42 |
John Ericson | I have some code using more LegacySSHStore too | 15:51:12 |
John Ericson | now, on one hand it does potentially sketch things with temp roots | 15:51:25 |
John Ericson | but on the other hand, the current use of temp roots is also wrong | 15:51:34 |
John Ericson | so 🤷 | 15:51:39 |
hexa | temp roots? | 15:55:50 |

dgrig | hexa (signing key rotation when) Jonas Chevalier Mic92 (sorry for the direct ping) The Nix@NGI team needs to send some emails from the ngi@nixos.org email address to ~500 recipients. Last time this team needed something done from improvmx, the request was completed in an ad-hoc manner and I'm wondering if there's a way to formalize this. Either if someone from the Nix@NGI team had access to improvmx so we can send emails ourselves or if there's a better way to ask for someone with access to do the email sending for us. If this room isn't the proper avenue to discuss this please let me know where you think it's more appropriate to have this discussion (nixos/org maybe?) | 11:18:16 |
Jonas Chevalier | @jfly:matrix.org is probably the best person to talk to about this | 12:14:50 |
hexa | Our improvmx does support sender accounts, so we can set this up | 12:49:24 |
hexa | * Our improvmx account does support sender accounts, so we can set this up | 12:49:29 |
Mic92 | Improvemx has a daily quota and this is below the quota | 13:06:37 |
hexa | it says 600/mo for the subscription we have, where does it expose a daily quota? | 13:14:31 |
