k0kada (he/him) | Will do in another PR them | 22:28:26 |
mei 🌒& | but how is that IFD anyway? | 22:28:33 |
k0kada (he/him) | This is more that I want for this that should be a PR | 22:28:37 |
k0kada (he/him) | Ah ok, maybe it is not if we use nixpkgs.lib | 22:28:53 |
mei 🌒& | ooh yeah! | 22:29:27 |
k0kada (he/him) | Actually, maybe it will not be even using from pkgs.lib (yeah, I am definitively tired) | 22:29:39 |
k0kada (he/him) | But nixpkgs.lib looks more clean anyway | 22:29:47 |
mei 🌒& | also tired now and i don't know either | 22:29:55 |
mei 🌒& | sounds reasonable though | 22:30:00 |
k0kada (he/him) | BTW, do you use the devShell? | 22:30:47 |
k0kada (he/him) | I am thiking of just removing it | 22:30:53 |
k0kada (he/him) | It just creates a Python environment with PyGitHub | 22:31:14 |
k0kada (he/him) | I think maybe vlaci used it for something? | 22:31:31 |
mei 🌒& | it gets used by the CI still | 22:32:03 |
k0kada (he/him) | Ohhh I see | 22:32:19 |
k0kada (he/him) | nvm them | 22:32:23 |
mei 🌒& | feels a bit hacky | 22:32:27 |
k0kada (he/him) | Yeah | 22:32:33 |
mei 🌒& | but it's convenient! and i didn't write it! | 22:32:37 |
k0kada (he/him) | Maybe the CI could just have its own shell.nix | 22:32:42 |
mei 🌒& | then it won't follow the flake.lock | 22:32:57 |
k0kada (he/him) |
i didn't write it! This is a very good argument actually
| 22:33:04 |
k0kada (he/him) | *
i didn't write it!
This is a very good argument actually
| 22:33:16 |
k0kada (he/him) |
then it won't follow the flake.lock
There is a few ways to hack this though :P
| 22:33:29 |
mei 🌒& | do not dare utter the name of the edolstra repo | 22:35:24 |
mei 🌒& | :P | 22:35:29 |
k0kada (he/him) | This is one way, not the only one though | 22:35:46 |
k0kada (he/him) | Before knowing the "repo-that-should-not-be-named", I wrote my own flake-compat function by myself :P | 22:36:21 |
k0kada (he/him) | Not because I wanted to learn or anything, I just didn't know the repo existed lol | 22:36:42 |

ribosomerocker | In reply to@k0kada:matrix.org
BTW, emacs.package is set by nix-doom-emacs itself: https://github.com/nix-community/nix-doom-emacs/blob/master/modules/home-manager.nix#L101
So no need to set it manually
ah, nice. so this documentation in the linked picture is wrong? | 05:09:19 |
